Last weekend Stryke Force attended the Michigan State Championship at Saginaw Valley State University.
We were on the APTIV field competing with 39 other great teams. After competing hard during the qualification matches on Thursday evening and all day Friday, we finished with a record of 11-1-0, and were ranked 1st on our field. We picked team number 67 The HOT team and team number 2137 The Oxford RoboCats to join our alliance. We played well during the finals on our field but were sadly eliminated in Round 3 Match 9 after being moved to the lower bracket.
In addition, we were awarded with the FIRST Quality Award, one of our students, Alec M., was awarded with the FIRST Scholarship for Kettering University. We would like to applaud all the teams for their success in earning the spot to compete and for competing so well at states. Thank you Saginaw Valley State University for hosting this amazing event. We are so grateful for all our hardworking students and mentors, and are thankful for all of our generous sponsors.
Next week, we will be competing at the World Championship in Houston. We look forward to seeing all the great teams there!
