Preston, Max, Natalia

Preston G. has been on the team for two years and is the scouting team lead. In his first year on Stryke Force he helped with doing CAD and build, but this season, he has been working on developing a scouting app to make the scouting experience more efficient. His favorite game is this year's because he likes the many cool designs he sees on the robots. Going to Houston for the World Championship in 2023 is Preston's favorite memory during his time on the team. Being able to help influence the outcomes of matches at competitions is why he enjoys the scouting sub team. A life lesson he has learned while being on the team is to "fail quickly and often." He plans to attend Michigan Tech University to study Computer Engineering. We are so grateful Preston has been a part of Stryke Force, and we cannot wait to see what he accomplishes in the future.

Natalia's Senior Photo

This is Natalia's first year with Stryke Force. Her role includes leading animation projects as well as being a member of the business team. The reason she joined the team was to experience something new and different. Although Crescendo is the only season she's familiar with, she likes this game because she thoroughly enjoys the design aspects of the field. Meeting new people and making friends is Natalia's favorite memory while being on the team. Also, she loves the business team because she can use her artistic abilities to help create videos for awards. Planning and staying on track to achieve personal goals is an important life lesson she has learned throughout her time on the team. Natalia's future plans include attending art school, majoring in animation, and minoring in graphic design. We are so delighted that Natalia has been a part of Stryke Force, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for her.

Max's Senior Photo

Max S. has been on Stryke Force for a total of four years and his role on the team is being a pit lead. Throughout his high school career, Max has been a pivotal member of the build team, as a part of the pit crew, and one of the first members to be involved in the CAD program. He says the 2022 season, Rapid React, is his favorite season where he also learned at the first competition that his hands and mind were more capable than he thought. Stryke Force’s community is Max’s favorite part about the team because all of the students are kind, friendly, and easy to get along with. One life lesson he has learned is that "working alongside friends or people you get along with is easier and produces better results than working alone or with people you don’t like." Max's future plans include going to college and pursuing a degree in electrical engineering with a minor in mechanical engineering. We are so happy that he has been a part of our team, and we can’t wait to see where his journey takes him.
